Our Story, Passed Down Through Generations
Our great-grandfather, Shivlal Chhanganlal Kothari, who ran a kirana shop in Wadhwan, Gujarat. From the very beginning, it was about creating something meaningful, building trust, and offering quality products to the community. The current founder, Vijay (Raju) Kothari, at just fifteen, stepped into the shop to carry forward this legacy. Where Tradition Meets Taste
In 1996, the Kothari family moved to Ahmedabad, carrying not just memories, but recipes passed down through generations. His wife, Rinku, came from a family that knew food as a tradition, She brought with her the art of making flavorful homemade snacks—Vadi-Papad, Chakri, Thepla— the slow, careful, soulful methods that give food its true character.
In 2001, they opened their first shop in Naranpura, Ahmedabad, and slowly in 2007 opened another shop through word spread. In 2023, the flagship store at SKD Surya Icon, Ahmedabad, was launched. Today, with over 12,000 products including regional snacks and international gourmet items, Falguni Foods stands as a bridge between generations, bringing tradition and taste to every customer.
Growing with Vision
With the support of Zeel Kothari, the next-generation torchbearer, the brand embraced digitalization, modern retail methods, and new-age branding, helping Falguni Jain Gruh Udhyog reach more people while staying true to its roots and under the leadership of Vijay (Raju) Kothari, Falguni Foods expanded steadily, keeping the essence of the brand intact.
